Gee! I got your attention na ba? Hehehe! Just kidding.
But I still think valentine’s is a fad. I mean, you can spend quality time with the one you care about even when it’s not valentines. Right? It’s just pure commercialism.
You can give roses to someone you like just because it’s a Wednesday, or a Tuesday, or whatever day.
You can send a card just because a song on the radio reminded you of them, or the night you were on a club, or the song playing while you’re out on your first date to tell them how you miss being with them.
You can spend a night at a resort out of town, camp out and stay up till dawn, tell them they mean so much to you as the sun is peeking from the mountains while holding them close, as if you never want to let go. I can go on forever with this kind of thing but all I’m saying is that you can express your feelings not only on valentine’s day.
You can just look at them in the eye, hold their hand, brush stray locks from their face and tell them how much you care about them, how much you appreciate them, how much they mean to you, how much you love them, anywhere. You can tell them how they changed your world. Just a tip, don’t use too much figures of speech, that’s overkill.
Right. Now, who say’s I’m not a romantic?
Hahaha! Maybe I’m not, that’s why I’m stuck here at the house without a date for tonight watching my mom dance to a Ciara song. Or maybe I’m not into the romance thing, anymore. Lots of maybe’s, diba?
Romance right now is the last thing on my mind. Really. Walang magtataas ng kilay!!! A lot of my friends don’t really believe me. But it’s true. (does that mean ganon ako kalala?) I kinda made a new year’s resolution. No more careers muna for as long as I can hold the fort. I just hope kayanin ko. Hehehe! It’s hard work. Hehehe!
Some say ako daw yung type na hindi nawawalan. Hmm. I haven’t noticed that. That’s just an image lang, siguro. But that’s not what I want to project po ah. But well, when I find someone that I really really like, I hang with them, spend time with them, know them. Then if it works, then go, if it doesn’t, then I move on. That’s just it, really. Basta, I’m not one of those people that need to be with someone talaga.
Honestly, I’m just trying to get over someone talaga. That’s the main reason. Okey friends ah, now you know. That’s it. Those are the factors that prevent me from you-know-what. Hehehe! (pinapahirapan pa sarili no?)
As I was saying over and over again, when you fall, you fall.
Anyway, change topic na nga lang. Get busy na tugtog. Wala lang. I really like this song talaga. Lalo na pag milkshake. Hehehe! Yun lang nakakapatayo saken. Hmm. I just thought you’d like to now.
Okay, so much for my introduction. Hahaha! About my day naman. I had a normal day. I woke up at nine, went to the bank to deposit my sister’s allowance, then had coffee at my dad’s office, then said hi to my friends sa video city on my way home. I got home at around 12pm. I ate lunch, then took a bath (kelangan pa ba talagang sabihin yon? Haha!), then got dressed (take note: nakapambahay akong pumasok kanina, since it’s valentines, naka blue ako. Blue ang valentines ko. Haha!), then went to class. When I got there, there are only 3 people there (Adrian, Glen, hindi ko alam name niya.. ). Glen and I chatted for a while, talked about what I missed last meeting, which was nothing since the prof was late.
Then Armi arrived. We talked about first aiding, joining environmental groups like greenpeace, organic farming, veggie meats (eew..) no to GMO’s, and about rainbow warrior ng Greenpeace (remember the ship in Armageddon? ung sa start ng movie, with protestors onboard as bruce willis is playing golf, yeah, that’s it.). I kinda tried to recruit them into volunteering. The world needs more volunteers. You don’t get paid, but it surely gives you a great feeling.
Hey, if you want to volunteer, just leave a message, alright? I’m looking for child life program volunteers. In the child life program, you stay on a hospital, pediatric ward specifically. Since it’s a pediatric ward, you relate with kids from 0 – 19 yrs old. You just have to entertain them, read books, play with them, the works. Just make them feel normal. That’s it. You don’t have to be there regularly.
Back to class: we had a substitute teacher. I didn’t get her name though. Anyway, she talked about church modes (Ionian, dorian… blah blah blah… ), relative minors, parallel minors, melodic minors, and harmonic minors ( yeah, I know.. I was clueless at first too… ). I even joked to Armi about Alicia keys’ first album, since it was “Songs from A minor”. It could also be called “Songs from the Ionian Mode”. The sub was pretty eager! I had a bit difficulty in the scales a bit, but I know it’ll sink in later.
After class, I was about to go home when I saw Allora (classmate uli..) at the gate. We chatted for a while about nothing of relevance. Then her mom asked me to hitch with them (hahaha! Hitchhiker daw ba…

Her mom was pretty nice. And a miracle happened. Allora was pretty silent. It was a bit shocking. What happened to the rowdy Allora? Hahaha! (baka mabatukan ako.. hehe!)
Anyway, I got home a bit after dark. After several minutes of fumbling for my keys at my very organized bag (with a hint of sarcasm…

and munching cheese popcorn, I got in. I forgot to leave the lights on. Thank gawd I didn’t break anything. My mom arrived a few minutes later. She bought dinner sa Greenwich. Then we talked about what happened in our lives today.
Wow, it’s long. I guess I better cut this story short. I’m now in front of the PC, it’s 10:00 on my watch, and I’m about to sleep. Got rehearsals tomorrow! * sigh *
Goodnight everyone. Salamat sa pagtiyaga.
Peace.
